Experience from Week #2
So far, so good! The student teaching experience is a lot of fun! The students are finally getting used to having another person there to help them. My first assignment was to create a game or activity that would allow the students to learn their exact trigonometric function values. The game is a variation of tic-tac-toe in that they must get the question correct in order to place their X or O on the board. A picture of the directions will be posted below when it becomes available.

I also had the opportunity to teach the kids in Mrs. Roda's fifth hour a lesson! The notes had to do with the integrals of trigonometric functions. SO FUN!! I got nothing but positive feedback from Mrs. Roda and everyone in the class understood what was going on! A picture of the notes will be posted below once it becomes available.

Week #2 has been absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait for the following weeks to come. There were some minor changes in plans. I will not be teaching AP Calculus BC topics anymore because none of the students have chosen to take that exam. If anybody changes their mind, I will be very glad to tutor them with those topics! Also, Mrs. Roda has told me that I will slowly become the main calculus teacher in the classroom as the experience progresses. So excited!!!
